In early 2015, on the other side of the world, an Australian girl left her home in Tasmania to take on the world solo. Taking a boat from Denmark to Iceland without any plan seemed both adventurous and romantic (and nothing she couldn't handle with her summer jacket)...

Thankfully, somewhere between Denmark and Iceland, these two very different trips crossed paths. Despite different hemispheres, languages, cultures and heights, a tall-Dutch-wind surfing-adventurer saved a small-hitchhiking-summer jacket wearing-Tasmanian from a -12 degrees first night.

We hope to post about the adventures we have around the world as well as closer to home. Meaning traveling, motorbiking, outdoor sports, renovating, designing, gardening and cooking are some of the things you can expect to see from us here on steemit. We would love any advice you have for how to get started in these topics so please get in touch!

Hey hey Small & Tall! Glad to see you arrive on Steem! That's a great history to read, to meet like that must be really special <3
Steemmonsters is mostly a matter of putting a Tank in the front, a ranged attacker in the back, and a bit of luck your opponent doesn't have better cards than you :P I made it do Diamond II last season, and since I meet up better and better opponents I won't make it much further without buying many more cards ;-)

Hi! Thanks for the tips. We will definitely take a look at your posts to see a glimpse of India - we're hoping to head to that part of the world later in the year :D I have made a switch to photographing with my iphone rather than camera in the last few years - I find it so much less invasive and touristy than carrying a bulky camera.
