It took me three months but I'm finally here, Steemit!!! An Introductory post by Simon Godwin

Hi Steemit, My name is Simon Godwin from Akwa Ibom state in Nigeria. It's a pleasure being part of this great platform. Over the past few months, I've tried to get myself acquainted to this platform, to get used to the dos and don'ts of the platform. With the little knowledge I've gotten so far, I believe this is the best place to be.

Before I start, I love to acknowledge my friend and brother @messinaldo for persuading me to write this introductory post. It wasn't easy for him to get me down here but finally I'm here. Kudos to @messinaldo.

Who I am?
I'm Simon Godwin a graduate of Chemical Engineering from the Pretigious Federal University of Petroleum Resources which is known to be the first petroleum University in Africa and the sixth in the world. I'm born into a family of seven which consist of my father, mother, three sisters and a brother. I'm the fourth born in the family and was once the last born which I miss so much. I speak English, Ibibio, Igbo and Annang fluently. I have so much love for music even though I don't know how to play any musical instrument yet. I also love travelling, sports activities particularly football and inspiring people. I've since i was a kid, I always detest seeing people around me suffering, so I decided to aim at living my life to motivate and inspire people. I have a little leadership skills as I've always believed I was born to serve.

Growing up for me was not very easy as I grew up in a Godfearing and disciplined home. It is always said that doing the wrong thing can be so interesting and you can imagine what it looks like when you can't do what your fellow kids were doing. All thanks to My dad, Mum and siblings for making me who I am today.

My slogan is "the only language time understands is NOW" and this has kept me updated as proscastination has always been a dreadful disease for achievers.

Why Steemit?
Of all the platform I've come across so far, steemit happens to be the best for me as I believe i will meet people of like minds and possibly same goals with mine. Also research, Steemit can be termed a meritocratic as it can be said that "you reap what you sow"into the platform. A platform that rewards the effort of its users is a platform that deserves spending much time on. I believe I am not in a wrong place.

What I will be posting?
To be very honest, I will be posting whatever I thing will benefit every user on this platform.

In conclusion, I'm very happy to be here and I will try my best to see that my stay in this platform will benefit all and attract more users as we aim at growing to be become the best platform someday. Thanks everyone for giving your time to read my post.
