“Lord of the Rings”… ဆိုတဲ့ကမာၻေက်ာ္ ေမွာ္ရုပ္ရွင္ ဇာတ္ကားႀကီးရဲ့ မူလဝတၳဳ စာေရးဆရာက အခုပံုပါ လက္စြပ္နဲ႔ လက္စြပ္ရဲ့ေနာက္ခံဇာတ္လမ္းေတြကိုအေျခ ခံျပီး ကေလာင္စြမ္းနဲ့ ဖန္တီးထားတဲ့ဇာတ္လမ္း ျဖစ္ ပါတယ္။ ဒီလက္စြပ္ႀကီးက ၁၇၈၅ ခုႏွစ္မွာ လယ္ထဲ မွ ရွာေတြ့ခဲ့တာျဖစ္ျပီး အာ့ေနရာက လန္ဒန္ျမိဳ့ရဲ့ အေနာက္ ဖက္မွာတည္ရွိတဲ့ Silchester အမည္ရွိ ရြာ တစ္ရြာျဖစ္ ျပီး ယခုေရွးေဟာင္း သုေတသီေတြအတြတ္ အေရးပါ တဲ့ေနရာတစ္ခုလည္း ျဖစ္ေနဆဲပါပဲ။

ဒီလက္စြပ္ႀကီးက ေရႊသားအတိနဲ႔ျပဳလုပ္ထားတာ ျဖစ္ ျပီး အေလးခ်ိန္ ၁၂ ဂရမ္ရွိကာ အက်ယ္ ၂၅ မီလီမီတာ ရွိပါတယ္။ဒီလက္စြပ္ကို ဝတ္ဆင္မယ္ဆိုရင္ေတာ့ လက္မ(သို႔)လက္အိတ္စြပ္ျပီးမွပဲဝတ္ဆင္နိုင္ပါတယ္။
လက္စြပ္အတြင္းထဲမွာလည္း လက္တင္ဘာသာနဲ႔ ေရး ထိုးထားတဲ့ “Senicianus” နဲ႔ “Live Well in God ”… ဆိုတဲ့ စာလံုး ၂ ခု ပါ ပါေသးတယ္။ ဒီလက္စြပ္ရဲ့ရာဇဝင္ အေၾကာင္းေတြကို ေရွးေဟာင္းသုေတသီျဖစ္သူ…

သူအေတာ္ေလးစြဲလမ္းစိတ္ရွိခဲ့ကာ ၁၉၃၇ ခုႏွစ္မွာ ေတာ့ ပထမဆံုးအေနနဲ႔ "The Hobbit " ကိုေရးသားခဲ့ ျပီးထုတ္ေဝခဲ့သလို ၁၉၅၄ ခုႏွစ္မွာလည္း "The Lord of the Rings " ဝတၳဳကို ေရးသားထုတ္ေဝခဲ့ပါေတာ့တယ္။
