#introduceyourself We are two slow travellers joining forces to write - or two writers joining forces to travel.

As a Steemit virgin, I have little expectation for the world I'm entering. But I'm excited.

My name is Sarah. I'm a slow traveller, a writer and an optimist. I live in Barcelona where I have just completed my first novel and in a few months, I will be leaving the comforts of apartment living to travel from Argentina to Canada. Currently, I have no savings, real income or expectations - but everything seems to work out in the end, somehow.

I like to take risks and one of those risks was to join an Argentinian on a road trip around Australia. The plan was to find work, start a blog, buy a van to live in and see where the road took us. We didn't expect it to lead us to Barcelona, but within six months that's where we were, and still are.

On our trip together we fell deeply in love, it's always good to add a bit of love to a story, and we plan to share our movements, photos, and stories here on Steemit. I will also be taking you on my journey with writing; and my partner Juan will show up now and then to share photos, thoughts, and maybe something about his lessons in cryptocurrency (it had to come in somewhere).

For now, I will leave you with a story. The story of how Juan and Sarah became a Kiwi and a Gaucho. Enjoy and see you soon.

There was a girl named Sarah who loved to travel and meet new people. One day she decided to leave the capital of New Zealand, Wellington, where she was working as an administrator, and head to the Hawkes Bay. She had spent some time overseas working on farms and did not enjoy returning to the office 9-5 life. She decided to do a Permaculture Design Course to introduce her to the world of organic gardening. She bought lots of seeds, started making sourdough bread and began her new simplistic life in the Hawkes Bay. She had some friends there who got her a job at Chantal Organics, as a gardener.

There was a boy named Juan who loved to travel and meet new people. Juan travelled to New Zealand from his home, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He arrived on a working holiday visa and he planned to spend that year (or more with a visa extension) travelling New Zealand and going wherever work was available. He had worked with horses, packed carrots, was a cleaner in a hotel, and then he went to Hawkes Bay. He saw an advert for a job and within the week began at Chantal Organics, as a gardener.

After meeting at the gardens Juan and Sarah quickly became friends. They shared meals, afternoons at the beach, and some weekend trips in Jack, Juan's van. They walked the Tongariro crossing, travelled up the East Coast of New Zealand and jumped off cliffs into the refreshing lakes and oceans. What began as a chance to speak some Spanish, share a few laughs and an open road with a fellow adventurer, quickly became something more. As the end of Juan’s visa approached, Sarah decided to join Juan on the road.

And thus began the adventures of a Kiwi and a Gaucho.
