Introduce myself

Hello, my name is Setiawati, some people called me Tia. But some of my friends usually called me Teta. Teta is another word of Elder Sister in my village. I come from Labuhanhaji, South Aceh, Indonesia.

I am currently a student at the UIN Ar-Raniry (Islamic State University). I choose one of the majors in Sharia and Law Faculty, namely Islamic Penal Law.
Initially, Islamic Penal Law is not my choice, because at that time i was more interested in English Majors. Three times i tried the test for English Majors, but i failed. At that time i was a little disappointed. But the people around me, including my family continue to support me. And one day, my Mother said "why dont you try another majors on the last test later?. Actually since you were a Junior High, your Father want you to be a Law Student".
From that moment, i started thinking about what my Mother was saying. And i decided to choose the Islamic Penal Law as the first choice, and the English major as second choice. And by permission of Allah, i passed the test in Islamic Penal Law majors. From that, i relized that 'my goal is what my parents aspired for me'. And now i really enjoy with this majors.

That was the introduction and the short experience from me, i hope its useful. And last, i want say that i am happy to join here. I can meet some new friends, get knowledge, get information, and i can share my experience here.
