Si hablamos de Densidad de suelo... Cual método prefieres?
Existen muchos métodos para determinar la densidad de campo del suelo.
Algunos de los mas usados son:
1.- METODO DEL CONO DE ARENA
2.- DENSIMETRO NUCLEAR
El método del cono de arena está basado en la obtención del volumen de un agujero hecho en el suelo, para esto se introduce en éste arena estandarizada, limpia, cuarzosa.

El densímetro nuclear por su parte, basa su medición en la propagación directa o retrodispersada de rayos gamma, posteriormente un microprocesador convierte las lecturas en medidas de densidad.

Ambos métodos tienen sus seguidores y sus detractores. Algunos estudiosos de la materia aseguran que el densímetro suele dar medidas algo mas elevadas que el método de cono de arena, otros opinan lo contrario.
El hecho es que ambos métodos aún siguen siendo usados y aceptados por la mayoría de las inspecciones e instituciones.
