Hi SteemIt, do you like science?

Hi SteemIt community!

Let us introduce ourselves. We are a small team of 4 friends who are science enthusiasts and just love every form of it - be it a history, present and most of all the future and for the past couple of months our devotion can be seen on our website ScienceNewsJournal.com.

We all have day jobs and in the evenings we nurture our passion for science and our dream is to make this passion into our full time jobs one day (and also learn something new each day)!

One of the guys from our team is also a crypto fan and we were talking about advancements in the crypto industry the other day and he told us about SteemIt. It immediately sparked our interest as we saw it as an opportunity to do a thing that we would like to do in the future and that is to have an ad-free website. Just pure, interesting science for all of our visitors!

We won't lie - currently our site running depends on displaying ads so we can cover basic stuff - hosting, some outsourcing and yeah, a few beers here and there. But at this time we are barely even covering the costs of hosting. We don't mind though because if you are passionate for something then you have no problem spending money on it ;)

So what we plan on doing is reposting the content from our website to SteemIt and if you guys like it upvote our content, comment on it and start a discussion. Also every criticism is welcomed.

EDIT: Wow guys, looks like SteemIt wants some science! Over $2,60 already in just two hours? That is more then we made in the whole first month when we started from ads on our site :D I am off to add the first posts to our profile.

Yes, yes! I love science. I'm particularly fascinated by astrophysics and evolutionary biology. Still reeling from the discovery of gravitational waves - can't wait to see what we can discover through it!
