Russia Insider Now on STEEMIT! - Fight Media Lies
I started Russia Insider in the Fall of 2014 to protest the shameless and grotesque lying in the media about the Ukraine war, and about Russia in general. Since then we’ve racked up over 300 million page views, and are going strong.
90% of our budget comes from small reader donations (the rest from ads), making us one of the biggest and most successful reader-supported alternative news sites on the internet. 10s of 1000s of people have contributed to make Russia Insider happen. It is truly a collective effort.
We try to portray Russia without the relentless Russophobia so common in the media. RussiaGate is the best thing that ever happened to us, because we can hammer the media on an anvil of truth over this ridiculous lie.e>
I am convinced that the old, corrupt (and frankly evil) establishment is getting pushed aside thanks to technology, and blockchain is just another nail in their coffin.
We are optimists, and believe more honesty and decency will be the result. The rotten old order is fighting back, but they are clearly losing.
Besides Russia, we are outspoken about:
- The need to regulate the big tech platforms to stop censorship
- The insane waste and aggression of the American military
- How neo-conservatives are destroying the world
- Israeli and Saudi lobbying and influence on American politics
- Against endless war in the Middle East
- America needs to start taking care of its working people, and not just the 1% and military contractors.
I have a conservative, pro-Christian worldview, but publish voices on the left when our views overlap, and when it comes to Russia, they often do.
We actively cover how the Russian government is pro-crypto and pro-blockchain, because we agree that blockchain is the future. We like it because it is pro-people, and anti-elitist.
We’re ready to STEEM a lot of content, both print and video, if it generates enough revenue to justify the cost.
We get 10 million views a month across all of our platforms, and are willing to encourage our audience to get on STEEMIT if we see that the platform works.

Centralized media have always supplied news with the point of view of the power.
We need reporters on decentralized media, thata are closer reality without links to the power.

That is why I believe that whatever confusion the world is currently going through because of all the information out there, that eventually the net effect of this technology revolution will be more truth and honesty and decency, and less lying, which, unfortunately is rampant in the corporate media these days.
