Hi Steemians! My name is Ruel from the Philippines. If you dream of travelling around the world, love to try new foods from different places, or try to make yourself look like a supermodel in photos, then we have a lot of things in common.

My Work

Though I wanted to be a professional model (which is impossible given my face and body LOL! ), I ended up as a chemical engineer. I took the national board examinations about two years ago, and luckily, I passed.

I had experience working as a lecturer in a university and then decided to study Master degree in Thailand.

Most of the time, I have to work in this laboratory (have to finish my thesis soon). You might be thinking I'm a complete nerd by now, but no! Just like you, I love to travel, meet new friends, eat new food, and take a lot of photos. Hahaha.

My AdvenTours

Although my budget is limited, I always seek for an adventure. Travelling doesn't require a lot of money if you can make the best out of what you have. Here are some of the places that I've been to recently.

Life in Another Country

As a foreigner in Thailand, it was challenging for me at first to get used to different cultures and learn new language. However, I'm very lucky to have such amazing Thai friends who accepted me and treated me like family.
