Hi Steemies, my name is Roeland. I've been building apps most of the time as a freelancer, mainly running on our own platform called 'Shoudio' for guided tour apps with about 500K downloads in total so far. I recently discovered Steemit and wanted to quickly introduce myself below as well as an introduction into our newest venture which not quite coincidentally launched together with the birth of our son.

A Crypto fan was born

Since the beginning of Bitcoin and the first 🍕 pizza sale for 10K BTC I have been interested in digital cryptocurrencies however my knowledge and time prevented me from investigating further. With last year's ETH introduction I became a huge fan of decentralised networks and smart coins and started a little rendering machine (4 graph cards) at home: now we never need to tumble dry again as the laundry room is so hot :)

I am really curious in what way Steemit will evolve and especially how the idea of it's own coin will ground, especially running on the blockchain and whether it's own ecosystem will be run or through the power of (for example) Ethereum.
