A Record Keeper joins the Steemit Community #IntroduceYourself #TeamMalaysia

Hello, fellow denizens of Steemit!

Call me Roche.

I had been a longtime, Free-to-Play (F2P) player of the mobile game Final Fantasy Record Keeper, specifically since Celes first debuted on its Global iteration. (Yes, there is indeed a Japanese version and Global version of this mobile game!) About more information on this game, I would point towards its official webpage which frankly I feel still has much room for improvement or to refer to an abridged description that is its Wikipedia entry. Before ending up here, I had been fortunate to have discovered and joined as an active member of the Record Keeper Forum (RKF) community; and had even got to know about the huge community and following of this game, which is the Record Keeper Reddit Page as well.

This game definitely stokes the nostalgia factor in me. My past FF experience started a loaned Final Fantasy Legends game from a friend on my classic Gameboy, which was then followed by purchases of FFL2 & FFL3 which brings back dear memories of gaming days long gone. I had been fortunate enough to also have played almost all main FF titles. To recount it all:

• FF1 ~~ Done!
• FF2 ~~ Done!
• FF3 ~~ didn't finish it.
• FF4 ~~ didn't finish it. Got lost on the Moon.
• FF5 ~~ Could've sworn I had finished. Can't remember the ending though.
• FF6 ~~ Done! Superb story
• FF7 ~~ Done! But till the end, Aeris didn't come back to life unlike Shadow (VI); (Input "WSummon-KotR" "Mime" "Mime"... Goes to snack on instant noodles)
• FF7-CC ~~ Done! (Back to squats)
• FF8 ~~ Done! (New Magic detected? Input "Draw" "Draw" "Draw")
• FF9 ~~ Done! (Ozma? "Nope." Flies away)
• FF10 ~~ Done! Finally caught that
• FF11 ~~ ("Nope." Flies away)
• FF12 ~~ Done! (Yaizmat? "Nope." Flies away)
• FF13 ~~ Done! (FFXIII-2? FFXIII-3? "Nope." Flies away)
• FF14 ~~ (Main Storyline) Done! (Twintania? Heavensward? MYR-USD down? "Nope." Flies away)
• FF15 ~~ (MYR-USD down? "Nope." Flies away)
  I also played many other titles and series including Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Zelda, WoW, etc.
  But, I guess I'll stop here. My entire recollection of past favourites would be too long to recount. I'll post about this another time.

Hence, I had decided to join the Steemit community with the notion of sharing, with both new aspiring Record Keepers as well as veterans, my takes at this mobile game which had been going strong since its Global release back in March 2015. Once maintenance passes this coming 30th May 2018, the game's revamped Story Mode, a.k.a. the Acolyte Archives, will certainly bring a fresh look towards its standalone lore as a mobile game. This game may not be the in the ranks of trending MOBAs and other hot mobile games, but it does offer much depth and complexity in strategy despite its apparent simple gameplay interface. Furthermore, the Final Fantasy series' music is fantastic as ever, with occasional arragement tracks during special events.

Lastly, I somehow feel like I'm the only few Malaysians who are actively playing this game. I do look forward to getting to know more players from the local scene, as well as hearing out everyone's ideas on enjoying the game further.
