Pine Forest Mangunan is a natural tourist attraction located in the hills Bantul east side. At first this pine forest is only a forest area managed by Perhutani. The Dlingo Pine Forest is currently known as Puncak Pinang Mangunan located in Sudimoro village, Muntuk village, Dlingo district, Bantul district, DI Yogyakarta. This pine forest is a protected forest area in Bantul Regency managed by RPH Mangunan.

The location of Puncak Mangunan Forest is quite close to the Mangunan Fruit Garden only about a few hundred meters so it can be used as a tour package. If you've been to the Mangunan Fruit Farms, remember the last intersection of the Mangunan Village Office. At the intersection when taking the road to the right will go to the Fruit Garden Mangunan and Dlingo. While the road to the left with the condition uphill and narrow to the Forest of Pinus Mangunan and Becici Peak. Pick the way to the left to go to the pine forest Mangunan Bantul.

Pusher Forest Tourism Mangunan Bantul currently managed by the community around the permission of RPH Mangunan as the owner of forest land. RPH Mangunan is in the Dlingo area not within Imogiri territory. Visitors often mistakenly call this place by the name of Imogiri Pine Forest. The reason is because they are mostly accessing this place from the center of the Imogiri sub-district capital rather than the Dlingo district capital. This actually needs to be straightened out so that tourists and tour agents do not mislabel the location.

Visitors who travel in Pineland Forest Mangunan are not charged the entrance fee or free of charge. They only charged vehicle parking fee according to the vehicle they were traveling. The parking area provided is not extensive because it only utilizes a forest area slightly overgrown with pine trees. Vehicles can be parked on the sidelines of the pine tree. The capacity of the existing parking area is enough to accommodate dozens of four-wheeled vehicles and dozens of two-wheeled vehicles.
