Hi Steemit!

Happy to be a part of the community! I'm coming in at the behest of my friend @prufarchy, who says there's a chance people will actually want to hear what I have to say about stuff and things. Me, some random human on the planet.

A Whole New (Encrypted?) World

So I don't know too much about bitcoin and crypto-currency, but I'm slowly learning! @prufarchy has gotten a few of us here at the office fired about crypto and Steemit, so now there are several of us rocking bitstamp accounts! We even got a crypto slack channel up and running so we can trade information and keep learning. It's not much but it's a start.

In fact, I just bought my very first 1's and 0's of Bitcoin, so really... It's my Bitcoin Birthday.

I'm CRUSHING this!

I'm thinking my first crypto purchase might be Digitbyte because I like what I've read so far and there are some rumors that the platform may be launching in this next week. Does anyone have any opinions on DGB??

Until I understand more about blockchain tech, I'll probably stick to writing about movies, TV, sports and a bunch of other stuff. So far I see that sports does have a cool community here, so I'm wondering who's down for some Fantasy League Sports?!?
