Hello! I’m Cate and was born and raised in England and believe it or not, a descendent of King Charles II ~ Seriously I am! He was a very “friendly” monarch, if you know what I mean. ;)

I moved to the states in ’97 and now live in Michigan with my husband and kids.

Between us we have 5 amazing children. H [17], C [14], A [11], J [9], and we just welcomed our baby girl, Freyja on October 12.

As you can see there is quite the age gap between our eldest and youngest... next year we’ll have one in diapers and one in college, with 3 in-between.

We also have 3 fur-babies, Gus [schnoodle], Pixie [golden retriever] and Odin [the polydactyl cat and a souvenir from our time living in FL].

Professionally, my degree is in Business and Finance and I’ve been providing support to executives of some very well-known Fortune 500 companies for over 20 years, both in the UK and US.

More recently I’ve changed direction and currently freelance, supporting a two-time NY Times bestselling author and Speaker Hall of Fame® recipient. Everything from editing, suggesting content and leading her latest successful book launch to curating her speaking engagements and being on stage myself!

I’d like to see far more mums [and dads] on Steemit and perhaps there are more than I’m finding, being new here. This is a wonderful platform to collaborate, share and build a community, a support network if you will and be paid for what we do best… being a parent.
