PLTorres Introduction – New creative blogger
Hello everyone! My name is Pedro and I’m new to the Steemit platform. I’d like to share a little bit about my life, my interests, and what you can expect from my blog.
About me: Currently I’m an IT manager living in Las Vegas, NV USA. I live alone with my two dogs: Ghost & Banshee. I’ve always been interested in blogging and I’ve given it a try a few times with a personal website & youtube but it never stuck. I always felt like I was behind in the times and my interests are so spread out that I never wanted to be restricted to one theme. So here I am to try it again!
Hobbies: Music, Writing, Traveling, Investing, and video games.
Music: I’ve always been interested in music and love many genres. Currently I play bass & guitar in two different cover bands and I’m learning other instruments. In addition I have a love for teaching so I’ll probably end up having lesson posts in the future.
Writing: Poems and short stories is something that I occasionally do. One of my goals is to complete a fantasy/horror novel and have it published; it’s a big task that takes tons of work. As for poems, when I’m feeling emotional I will sometimes turn my poems into feelings. I’m going to post one shortly after this post that you can check out.
Traveling: I’ve traveled in the past and I’ve been getting back into it (I could use a travel buddy). So far I’ve been to: Canada, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Columbia, and all over The United States. I’m also a member of Couchsurfing.com and have met and hosted some interesting people, it’s a great way to meet people. If you’re ever in Las Vegas then send me a message and we can grab a drink or have lunch.

Investing: Work…most people would love to never have to work a normal job again and I’m no different. I’m always looking for ways to create passive income or have my money build more wealth. I have strong opinions on what has and hasn’t worked for me and I’d like to share them with everyone. Things like stocks, crypto, royalties, investing in debt, and p2p lending.
Currently I’m testing out Earnhoney: http://www.earnhoney.com/home/?referrer=11E794EB9A (support me by signing up using my referral link) – Right now I’ve made $25 in 3 days for just running the videos on multiple computers. It’s not going to make you rich but it’s nice to have a little extra money to use to reinvest in other things. I’ll write a longer review about this site later.
Video Games: Well, this one is a bit odd for me. Growing up my brother and I would play lots of games together but then I grew up and haven’t gamed much. I’ve been trying to get back into it but I haven’t found games that inspire me to play, so I’m going to be in search of games on steam. I plan on recording my journey back into gaming.
Also, check out my friend’s twitch channel:
Well that’s me.
I feel like i am reading my own profile :D
I am also in IT field, love to write not only one theme - in blogging i mean, love to travel too :D
Welcome on steemit btw... And have fun !!! :)
@rahmanovic - Nice to meet you! Where have you traveled to so far?
I used to love in europe, so..i had been traveling around there..and now i am exploring more in Indonesia..
I would love to go to Indonesia. Actually any country in Asia would be nice. Well if you're ever in the states let me know.
sure! :)
More than happy to chat about games that are off the beaten path!
I'm looking for a horror survival game that's relatively cheap. Any suggestions?
Are you particular fussed about it being a big budget thing? Because I know a little indie thing that was really getting rated a couple of months ago, became a bit of a cult hit.
I watched someone stream this and it was particularly tense.
Hmm...a top down horror/suspense game. I don't think I've seen that before. I'll check it out.
I don't mind smaller titles, sometimes the big budget games lack the content but look amazing.
It’s incredibly atmospheric. It’s not survival as in never ending survival like Minecraft, you d have to push on to the end, but there is the weird and tense overnight survival in your hideout each night. Plus the entire game is really twisted and sour.
I'd love to visit Las Vegas! Until now I've visited Italy (a lot cities all over), Switzerland, Germany, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Austria, The States!! (But only Florida :( I want to visit more places), Panama and some caribbean islands. Couchsurfing.com sounds very very cool! I like what you do and I'd like to see those guitar classes :)
If you ever plan a trip to Las Vegas then let me know. I'll show you around and have a spare bedroom, it's nice for when the couchsurfing people show up that way they aren't sleeping on a floor or on an actual couch. I try to host people as much as possible but I can only do it on the weekends because those are my off days and having strangers in my house alone isn't something I want.
Do you play the guitar or any instruments?
Nice to meet you
Greetings minnow!
