Welcome to steemit, it's a great community, don't worry about everyone being nerdy crypto enthusiasts. There's so many different people here with so many different interests.
Thanks so much @phelimint. I have a nerdy crypto enthusiast brother-in-law who persuaded me to join and a son who lives by Sheldon philosophy so yes I'll survive! I'm already enjoying reading posts from people from all walks of life, all over the world and seeing other people join is exciting too! It's already become quite addictive!
