DEFINING MOMENTS....what I do...AND I DO IT WELL

##RE-INTRODUCING MYSELF
Hi STEEMIT community. I just felt like re-introducing myself and give you one great piece I wrote. I am Patrick Peace and I joined Steemit this month of June and I’m a motivational speaker and author of books above many other things. I VALUE YOUR LIFE OFFLINE AND WOULD WANT TO IMPACT IT TOO.
May somebody who is about to give up in life read the following piece I wrote and hope again

##RE-TWEETING THE MOTIVATIONAL PIECE I WROTE
Most people wallow in the mud of self-pity and regrets and are driven into deep sorrow everyday as they look at their failures. When they gaze into their future, they see nothing but a very dark and deep end with no hope at all. They wish if they had privileges that other people have and they see themselves like people too disadvantaged in life and condemned to utter failure and disgrace. Some even think they are not worth living and always think of committing suicide. Whatever your situation is, it is not your final end and you are never too disadvantaged to be an utter failure in life.
The world always gives us examples of people who were caught up in distressing, difficult, embarrassing and hopeless situations etc. but some became examples to us that you can make it against all odds. Richard Branson dropped out of school at 16 but now controls more than 400 companies, Colonel Sanders (founder of Kentucky Fried Chickens) was too old and had already lived a sorrowful and embarrassing life but became a billionaire in his old age and Barack Obama was a black man wanting to occupy a seat in the United States of America which no black man had ever sat on but he didn’t allow his race or history to stop him and he made history. The list of people who made it in life against all odds is endless. If people in the same situation or worse than yours could make it in life, you can also make it.
It’s not about your race, financial limitations, background, nationality, age, physical disability, healthy issues etc. but it’s about how you see it. Instead of seeing your situation as a limitation, see it as an opportunity to make history. You can’t bring a change about your situation without changing your attitude first. Tell yourself everyday that you can make it in life and start working tirelessly towards it.
Did you know that the amount of energy and resources most people exhaust when complaining and crying over situations is so much that if executed in the positive way, it could make them very rich? Consider the time and energy you spend overthinking about stressing issues to their finest details and imagine if it was a business or project proposal you were thinking on. Consider how much megabytes of data you spend on the internet indulging yourself in unproductive activities so as to get rid of stress, boredom etc. while some people are even using less data than that to make more money than you can ever imagine. I’m not blaming or condemning you in anything but I am showing you how much you can achieve if you give much energy to your dreams as you do to your fears, doubts, hurts and disappointments.
Never think you are not educated enough, it’s too early or too late to have a good life because an uneducated living man is better than a dead man with a thousand university degrees. Also remember that there are many highly educated people who are struggling and suffering. It all comes back to attitude and how ready you are to commit yourself to bring the change that you want. Change doesn’t come on its own but you go out there, work it out and bring it home.
I encourage you to think again on your hopeless situation, build the right attitude and work tirelessly towards the change that you need. Even if you fail at first or many times, draw lessons from your failures and do it again until it works. In your failure don’t quit but make it an opportunity of gaining knowledge and experience. The greatest mistake you can do is not just the mistake you make while trying to make things work but it’s letting that mistake rule over you and stop you for good.
Go where you once failed and tell yourself that it’s not the end and do it again. Put the past behind you and work out the present so as to get the future that you desire. You can live your dream-life no-matter your current situation. Make a decision to make things happen.

Thanks a lot @jamesbrown. I greatly appreciate your support.

Reciprocation, my friend. Reciprocation :)

It's a lesson well taught. You have the qualities of leadership indeed. Will continue learning from you

Ah, I don't know about that. I just like to offer bits of advice (hopefully wisdom) from my experiences. I would likely learn just as much from you as you from I.

Life is an on-going education, after all, but I thank you for the wonderful compliment.

You are welcome. Some say experience is sometimes a good teacher...the wisdom you have from such will happy many.
