Re-introducing myself (Love Note To Self)

I listened to Pastor Akinyemi Davids some months ago, and he said we should always value ourselves. He even went as far as saying we should write a love note to ourself. Here is mine, you should too, because nobody knows you better than you know yourself, except the person is God.

So, in the comment section, you can leave your own love note too or simply post your own love note to yourself and declare good things about you. Confess your way to your breakthrough. Let's thrash that negative mindset and build another. The year ends soon, value and love yourself first then out of that you can easily love another. Let's do this.

Dear Olawale Adeniyi Oluwaseun Oladoja,

I love you from the moment you set foot into this world. You carry so much inside you. You have so much deposit inside you and you are on your path to greatness. You have a very large heart, and i know you to always speak your mind. I know you are also super sensitive and you value impacts and being of help in any capacity. I want you to know they are never in vain. Others may not see all the sacrifice but it is not for them to see, but for you to feel because relevance outweighs show offs. Not too many people know you right now, but they will, soon.

I admire your strength. You have been through a lot. Through you, i am able to confirm of a truth that God always give His toughest battle to the strongest. That’s why others can’t go through what you have gone through and not crumble and in the same vein, you can’t go through what others have gone or are going through and not breakdown or fumble. Many thought you will lose it or give up on life after losing dad and mum, many thought after they pulled away you will crumble but NO WAY! Where they see problem, you see solutions. Where they see challenges, you see springboard. Where they saw lemon, you definitely squeezed it and made juice. You are strong. You are wise. Giving advice and praying with or for people delights you. Nobody can do you and you can’t do another person.

Another thing i admire about you is your mental strength. You also have a big heart and you always speak your mind. You are sensitive and sensitive to the need of others and how they feel. You love putting yourself in people's shoes. You are selfless. This is a love note for you but i am not saying you are perfect but you can always be better. Strive more to improve on your excesses as you have always done. Make more provision for hurts from people and don’t take it too much to heart. Take more giant leaps and steps and let the fire of those dreams continually burn.

I have seen you feel alone some times, i have seen you feel down and out, but you always come out stronger. With your experiences, you have so much to teach and tell people. Your words are seasoned with grace. Your words are most times spot on as you speak with the intent of helping and you mostly turn out to be right. I have seen you do random things, i have seen you happy and sad, i have seen you act strong when you were aching inside. You conceal it so well because you will never allow your hurt get in the way of helping another who asks for help in advice or anything. You give hope which is only found in Jesus. You light up a room everytime you enter. Never a dull moment with you. Your presence is always felt anywhere you step into. You light the fire in people’s heart and always want to see everyone happy and smiling. Your heart is your greatest gift because out of it is the well spring of all you have been able to be in this world. Keep it.

I still have many more things to say about you and how proud i am of you seeing how long you’ve come but remember, you can’t stop. You still have so much to do, so many land to conquer and so many hearts to influence, so many lives to impact with your words, write up and books to come. You can’t let up. Remember, people will come and go, don’t try to force open doors that have closed on their own accord for whatever reason. Do all you can to keep them opened but do not wrestle with it. It’s not in the power to wrestle it open, but in the substance and impact. You have so much more embedded inside you. Let it all out. Soar.
