WOW!! There is really a political party for animals?? What's its position regarding sustainability? I am particularly interested in the rights of animals and the punishment of those who violate them. Will animal killers do jail time? If someone hits a dog with their car will they be punished? Will pets and/or farm animals be required to have health insurance? This may sound crazy, but I am sincerely curious.

Yeah! There are several party for the animals throughout the world! Take a look at the following website: https://www.partyfortheanimals.nl/ . The Dutch party for the animals is not a single-issue party, but has a political program focusing on the whole planet and all its inhabitants. It is the greenest party from the Netherlands and has 5 (out of 150) seats in the House of Representatives, one in the European Parliament, two in the senate and is also represented at local level.
