Introducing Myself To The Steemit Nation

Hello Steemians!
I am an amateur photographer based in Croatia, joining the Steemit world in hope of improving my photography through the interaction with you.
My relationship with photography has been a long term complicated affair. I've always had this feeling that would pop-up in my head when seeing an interesting scene. Whatever it is that catches my attention, sometimes makes me wonder off briefly, resulting in occasional ''Sorry, you were saying?'' routine to my company :).
For a long time I was taking snapshots, and I would usually be the one carrying the camera when going to trips and vacations... But I was not taking it to the next level.
Not sure what are the reasons why it took me so long to dig deeper into this. However, I know the reason why I started - astrophotography and nightscapes. This kind of photography requires you to move away from the automatic mode on the camera. So, it was time to go back to school. Few years ago I took some online courses to learn the basics and started to take photography a bit more serious than before.
Although astrophotography was my goal, other styles were becoming interesting to me as I was improving. However, my greatest interest is to learn and improve as much as possible. I will be sharing my new content, but of course, I will also share images that were taken before joining Steemit. Together with the images I will write about the inspiration and will always include technical details as well as equipment used.
As someone who is not a full time photographer, but is having a completely different job (project-service eng.), and as a father and a husband, finding time for hobbies is a craft on it's own :)
