I’m in awe at the wonder of what people can achieve.

From the ancient ships that carried grain from Egypt to Rome, to Brunel’s great bridges. From the first attempts to fly through the air, to the titanic voyages from the earth to the moon. The poetry of man’s capacity for excellence fills me with a wonder I want to share.

Take my hand and come with me. We are going on a journey into the past and across the oceans, through the solar system and toward the future. On this journey we will discover strange and wonderful things, we’ll learn from great success and spectacular failure and we’ll explore together what it means to be human.
