For homesteady folks on steem, you're gonna want to follow @sagescrub (creator of @homesteaderscoop), @riverflows (creator of @naturalmedicine), @freedompoint and @freedomtowrite (creators of @ghscollective), @sustainablelivin, @buckaroo, @bghandmade, @walkerland, @craigcryptoking, the wonderful @porters, @mountainjewel, @belleamie, @selka, @goat-girlz, and @makinstuff. That'll get you a good start and there are many others here.

On steem you'll find there's a lot to learn. Community is very important here. The longer you're here, the more obvious that will become to you. Most of the communities rally in discord servers for now until such an aspect is developed on chain here. Discord provides us a good convenient place to message, discuss, and build. @ginabot is a service on discord that links to your steem account and will give you notifications about things relative to you. Comments, token transfers, mentions, etc.

It may be fun to look into other dapps like partiko, steepshot, appics, and browser based interfaces like busy.org and steempeak.com.
