I went on the search for this article, still very relevant today! I'm new here but trying to work out how it all works. At the moment it seems that Steemit has 100s of new posts every few minutes and posts get buried very quick. The only way people will find you if they are looking for specifically what you are writing about, so im guessing tags are very important.
