welcome on steem hannah, steem is a nice platform. All you meed to do is to engage many people for your exposure in the platform. There are lot of way's also how to earn. For example @drugwars is a free game that you cam enter if you're on steem. It help's you to earn a little, but it's fine because you said small things can make you happier.

Just write what make's you happy, not because what make's them be happy.
