Welcome! To clarify, Steemit is only a single platform on top of the Steem blockchain. For daily blogging, I would recommend using steempeak.com which is a far more beautiful and intuitive interface.

For any of your posts about your passions in technology and engineering, you may benefit from using our platform, steemstem.io. It's still being developed but it works. If you publish with it, you get 5% extra vote from us (assuming you post about STEM content (science, tech, engineering, maths).
