That's a powerful story - I had a similar soul crushing first job out of college (validation engineer). Sat in a chair all day, but came home more tired than going in.
You acquire bills that can only be paid by your current job so you feel trapped and miserable... Making it super difficult to do anything you love when you spend all day doing things you absolutely hate but feel obligated to do... Snowballs slowly but immensely.
