Hey ya'll I'm Heather

So my friend Laura (Can be found here on steemit @Lauralemons) turned me on to the idea of blogging. I've seen her recounting her experiences and thought it was a great idea to hop on this bandwagon to not only vent, but to hopefully help and inspire others who may have gone through similar situations. I'm very much an old soul and have experienced several lifetimes worth of nonsense that allow me to be an excellent ear for listening and offer sound advice. So come on it and lay down on my couch, office hours begin now.

My name is Heather Joy, and I'm 27 years old and a Scorpio. I'm a professional pet groomer at an animal hospital and I'm also an Oiler. If you don't know what an oiler is, stay tuned for future posts regarding this subject. I moved back in with my parents exactly one year ago after breaking up with my boyfriend and moving out of our apartment. My younger sister also lives here, along with our Labrador Remy, Pomeranian Cupcake and cat Pixie. As you can probably tell, I'm extremely passionate about animals.

I am newly single and experiencing the most difficult year of my life- and let me tell ya, I've been through some shit. Just wait, you'll see. I struggle with depression, anxiety, BPD and alcoholism (which I'm really trying to get a handle on.) I've always felt like I'm destined for greatness, if I could just successfully wrestle my demons down. Let's see what happens, shall we?
