Become known as the "go to" guy for a specific content area...not that you can only post about one area... If you peruse my blog, you will see that I have an emphasis on current events with commentary, but then I also branch off some with original poetry, comedy, etc.

Engage with people, ask them to do reciprocal follows.

Most importantly, comment LONG and well on threads that you know something about, especially if the poster is a 59 or above (those are the ones that have the steem to reward you.)
