Hello world!

Hey everyone!

I was introduced to this site and thought it was kinda nifty. I'll be submitting some posts of my own, and I'm excited be a part of something new!

My name is Mark Rzepka. I'm an indie screenwriter, novelist, directer, producer and musician living in the Chicagoland area (soon to move to Los Angeles!)

I've got a low fantasy novel under my belt called The Crash.

I've written, recorded and produced and played bass for a punk rock LP album, Horrible Things, with my brothers and our cousin. You can stream it for free.

I've written, directed and produced a Firefly inspired TV pilot called The Blockade Runner, as well as filmed a SAG scifi/action short film shot in Atlanta, Georgia, which is currently nearing the end of post production. Teaser here

I've also co-directed a Back to the Future / Mad Max inspired short in Memphis, Tennessee, which was recently accepted into the Indie Memphis Film Festival.
