My tips for steemit would be...
-Be active
-Post genuine comments/ posts (Original content)
-Upvote on content you truly like and resteem if you think your audience will like it
-Do not post alot or resteem alot <-- ressteeming alot hides your actual content form your page
-Just be you and have fun :) treat it as a hobby or a passion and not a get rich quick scheme :)
