As you work in both the tech and the investment fields, you'll find that this platform is well-suited to your interests. And you might even find that there is much that you can bring to the platform.

And it helps that you are familiar with cryptos. That should make your "orientation" period here a bit shorter, and maybe even a bit "sweeter."

On point you should be aware of is that apparently the Steem tokens / coins are inflationary, as they are created by the network and there is no limit to how many will be created. That sets Steem apart from other coins, and that might mean that Steem will not appreciate in value as others have done (particularly this year).

Nevertheless, Steem is backed by a solid platform, so it may truly be stronger than certain other cryptos.
