Thanks for the good introduction. That gets you off to a great start on this platform. And with your experience on YouTube, you'll most likely have plenty to offer here.
Below are a few basic points of advice re posting on Steemit.
- Longer posts are more lucrative than short posts. If you make a post of 20–30 paragraphs, it's more likely to earn rewards.
- Include some photos, images or graphs, to complement the text.
- Make sure the text and photos are formatted properly, so that your post looks attractive and appealing.
- Also, if you're planning to upload mostly videos, I'd advise you to also include a fair bit of text, as either intro or background to the content of the vid. Some people (like me) prefer to scan through the text before watching a vid of any length, so see if the vid is worth clicking on.
