Hello Steemit, This Is Russ Curran From Scottsdale, AZ And Health And Wellness Is My Passion!

I own my own business which is merchant services and we also do SEO for our Clients helping them gain page one visibility on google and Youtube for their business. That is what pays the bills. However, my real passion is health and wellness and helping people restore and maintain their optimal health.

My journey into health and wellness started in 2001 when my mother was diagnosed with lung cancer. . When I sat with my mother and her oncologist and heard the treatments she was going to be going through, I asked him what we could do from a nutritional standpoint to support my mother and here is what the oncologist said.

"Nutrition has nothing to do with cancer"!

His statement is what propelled me into learning everything I could on cancer, the body, how cancer effects the body and the best things you could do to heal from it and also prevent it. I have studied cancer for the last 16 years and continue to do so.

Now, at the time of my mother's diagnosis I didn't know what I know now and out of "fear" we went ahead with the cut, burn and poison method, better know as surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. Despite the treatments, my mother survived. Typically, when you hear a lung cancer diagnosis, condolences are offered as not many people survive it.

If I knew back then what I know now, we never would have used those conventional treatments. It destroyed my mothers short term memory and she was never quite the same.

I spent the next 8 years immersed into research on cancer, what caused it, treatments that worked to eliminate it because I knew cancer had such a high recurrence rate and always seemed to return at some point. I also learned that the very treatments that were used on my mom to help eradicate the lung cancer also cause cancer.

Eight years later, cancer came calling again, this time it was in her colon. I was ready for this battle, I was fully prepared and knew exactly what to do. After her diagnosis of colon cancer, we immediately went to raw food only and green juicing. Go going to raw food, this stops the "further" production of cancer cells.

We got her on a plane within the next 10 days to Mesa, AZ as we lived in Boston at that time to see Dr. Thomas Lodi and use a myriad of alternative cancer treatments to help heal her from the colon cancer

What happened to my mother over the next 8 weeks was truly amazing to see! She was completely transformed in so many different ways. Here are just some of the treatments that were used to help defeat my mother's cancer;

• 21 straight days of green juicing only followed by raw food and juicing
• intravenous high dose vitamin c treatments
• ultraviolet blood irradiation
• lymphatic massages
• infrared sauna
• colonics
• IPT treatments
• EWOT (exercise with oxygen)
• and many more treatments

The one thing I have learned is there is no magic bullet. When the best of the best therapies and treatments are incorporated together in an integrated fashion, that offers the best opportunity to defeat the cancer at a metabolic level. Cancer is a warning sign, without it, we would just die. And, it didn't just happen over night, it has been years in the making.

We need to use treatments and therapies that challenge cancer on a metabolic level and that is exactly what we did. My mother's results after 8 weeks of these integrated treatments were amazing. Here is what happened;

• she lost 50 lbs. going from 183 to 133 pounds and got to her natural body weight
• her high blood pressure was gone, no more meds!
• the fluid in her ankles was gone, no more meds!
• her arthritis in her hips was gone, no more meds!
• her acid reflux was gone, no more meds!
• her cancer was gone!

We had got our mother back!! Here is a before photo of her about a month before she was diagnosed with the colon cancer;

As you can see, it was quite a transformation and we did have our mother back with us and we were very grateful!

In closing I do want to clarify and say that the treatments we used successfully to help heal my mother from colon cancer aren't the only treatments or methods to use to heal from cancer. I have since learned of others such as cannabis oil. However, I will say this, just one single treatment won't do it, it has to be done in an integrated way so the body is supported properly and allowed to do it's "healing" thing!

Knowledge is power and I used that knowledge so that the "fear" I felt back in 2001 had no place in my live. Their are many options to defeat cancer with, it's worth it to become educated and do what is best for you.
