Hello from NZ, thats cool - but what is a locrates?

So this is Streemit huh? Took me a while to sign up, but a friend kept going on about it so I did some research. Now, I had previous understanding of Bitcoin, although I never went further than creating a wallet. But another friend got really into it and would always talk about it, Even went to Hong Kong for a Bitcoin conference - A young, really smart human indeed.

So, To introduce myself...

I have given my life to my art. I sign my music works under the name locrates.  Music is my thing. Specifically a modern/future form of Trip-Hop. Its not quite the same as originators- Portishead, Massive Attack etc, but essentially I just did what Trip-Hop did in the 90's, once again- today. So a slowed down tempo, a hip-hop core sound, and a lovely female vocalist accompanying my production. But in today's hip-hop there is heavy use of the sub bass, weird samples and synths.. So I feel I am a part of a movement bringing back the old from of Trip-Hop with today's production style. 

I am a humble man, of 28 years old and I have just recently come to terms with being able to express my true intentions and desires with my music, as I used to think it was quite a vain idea. But I admit- yes I do wish to spend my life putting in the solid effort in order to solidify myself as a modern great such as Beethoven and other people on his level. I am not a child prodigy in music, and its already taken me 10 years to reach where I am now as I have had no professional training, and I know very few people that also do what I do - So I am quite happy dedicating my entire being into becoming something to humbly be proud of. #NoKanye - Because I love this shit!

 My families history as far back as stories go involve being dirt poor, my great grandma was a hooker.. 3 kids sleeping in one bed.. you know. So I feel with social media in my age, I can change the direction of my family. I SUCK at social media. I never was a glory hog like a lot of artist seem, but I now know I MUST make it part of my world to do the things I want to do with my art and for the future of my family.

Where to from here?

So, Streemit. You will find me talking about philosophy and art. locrates is I would think- obviously taken from Socrates. But with an L plate over the S as I consider myself a constant student. Always trying to learn something to improve myself and the world. This is my first legit step into the world of professional social media. From here you will soon find me building a youtube channel alongside my streemit account.

My journey is yous too, I want to prove to the world that we can create a new way of life with technology to exist in this world doing what we want to do. And streemit seems like the perfect first step.

I simply wish to be a living example of the future in today's world.
