if you plan to make 4 posts and upvote them 4 times then you wont have power to upvote others...balancing is key but if you have a lot of steem power you can treat yourself but then again you won't need it cause others will for you...up voting yourself is good for the new fishes ... it is like sticking your head up to get a peak or a pick lol ..after you become a big fish then it starts to stink but hey short answer...YES! it is a good idea :D
