Hello Steemit! My Introduction Post

Hello Steemit friends! I've been putting off this post for awhile but now that exams are over and the holidays are here, I can finally get to it. First of all you can call me Kiki. I'm in my fourth and final year of University and I'm majoring in human biology and genome biology. I'm not really sure what comes after and where to go from there.

In my free time I like to play the piano. I also participate in Serbian folk dancing, which I have been doing for six years. It is also where I met my boyfriend. I really enjoy it because it is a way of keeping in touch with my roots and traveling the world. Here is a picture of us in Hungary from our most recent dance tour.

It's always been my dream to start my own blog and I couldn't think of a better platform than Steemit! I love the sense of community and the support I've seen from others. I'm hoping that this will help me to figure out what to do after graduation. My true passion is makeup, I love creating different looks and there are endless possibilities and techniques. I love that I can always learn something new.

My passion for makeup actually stemmed from dance. I had never worn makeup before and I didn't have any of my own. After multiple performances I learned that makeup was part of package and that I needed to learn to do it myself. I still can't believe that I would go out and perform barefaced! LOL! I look back at old pictures and laugh at how ghostly I looked on stage.

My goal is to create beauty based content in the form of videos and posts. I hope I can create some informative and interesting content for you guys. I look forward to my next post and thank you for taking the time to get to know me. Until next time!
