There's a beautiful, straight street of shops with a flag pole and library at one end and a town clock at the other. Plenty of places to stay like 'The Douglas Arms'/'The Crown' or any of the homely B&Bs. One of the best High Schools I went to which got me a place at University of Glasgow, Scot's Law.

Also there is so much more!
