About Kanot Bu Community Official Account

The Kanot Bu Community was initiated in 2008. As a community based in Aceh, an area where tens of years have been hit by wars and in 2004 was hit by a devastating tsunami disaster. This community was conceived as a forum where young creative people gathered in the realm of art and culture. The Kanot Bu community has done various art events.

Music performances, writing and art workshops, art exhibitions, film screenings, and discussions on social issues discussed in an art perspective are some of the routine activities that have been performed since this community existed until now.

Since its establishment, Kanot Bu Community has established itself as an independent community that has never proposed a funding proposal to the government. To anticipate the funding side for routine activities, the community creates a t-shirt product whose profit is used by operational funds. In addition to the indie book products are also printed and sold for additional funds in performing various arts activities.

Since steemit exists, almost everyone in Kanot Bu Community has been a content creator on this platform. Recently, community members who have been concentrating on writing in steemit thought of managing one community account. In it will contain community activities, both previously done and future activities. This account will of course be a kind of community activity portfolio. In addition to the rewards earned from steemian support all will be a fund raising that can be used for community sustainability.

It is the latest activity that has been initiated by Kanot Bu Community, and of course there will be advanced art activities which will be continuously implemented.
