Hello Steemit!

Hello! So, I thought I would re-introduce myself. My name is Kaj and I live in the United States. I'm 19 and currently attend a university in New England. I'm studying Pre-Law and aspire to be an attorney in the future. Since I was young, I always wanted to be a lawyer. Being older, I can see more clearly as to why. I want to help people, especially those who might not have the opportunity to speak for themselves. I want to represent people for their best interests.

I also enjoy playing chess in my free time. I know, sounds rather boring. I feel like many people would be surprised and intrigued of how fascinating chess is if they knew how the pieces just moved. It's quite a riveting game once you get the hang of it.
I actually have the opportunity of teaching kids in after school chess programs. Due to this, I think you can really see the benefits of just learning how to play. I have gotten to know so many bright and intelligent children due to this. I teach in low income towns where many parents have to work double shifts just to make ends meet. Being able to be apart of their children's lives by just playing a board game with them means so much. It just brings it into full circle and a good reminder to never be closed fisted when giving but to extend oneself.

I enjoy learning new things that deal with just about anything. I'm tech savvy but don't understand coding or deep technological terminology. Yet, I'm ready to learn and feel like a bit of this type of knowledge can benefit everyone!

I plan on sharing tips, ideas, and how-to types of content on steemit. I also will be sharing a lot of my photography as well as good humor since I think we all need to laugh sometimes, even during the serious moments. Thank you guys!
