The Treasury at Petra, Jordan
It's a 2km hike through canyons to reach the City of Petra and one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. A beautiful temple cut into the canyon walls more than 2000 years ago, it is literally a sight to behold. If you're visiting this place, you should aim to reach at 8am to escape the crowds and admire the whole sight to yourself. You can ride camels and horses around the city, but it could come at a cost of up to USD$10. I think it's more worth it to explore the whole place on foot at your own leisure though, but of course the choice is up to you.
