love your intro - I talk to animals too, so I understand where you're coming from. Your story is very similar to mine except I don't swim with dolphins or bungee jump or engineer software...hmm, well anyway, we seem to have a lot in common :)
Haha, all those things are incidentals. Glad to find another kindred animal-communicating spirit!
I realized today I act the same with my pets as I did with my kids - I always cuddle them and feed them first :)
