I was born in 1985 in Oregon, had a Nintendo, was watching the Power Rangers. Nostalgia is our song. Agreed, love golden ages of television. Love this new world of cryptocurrencies and blockchain which is how we make bad government smaller. Hypothetically, bigger government can help if government were pure in heart, perfect, good, for we the people, theoretically, but historically, government becomes abusive in many countries around the world for so many centuries. We the people have to keep government as small as possible and as accountable as possible. Seeking after anarchy is so much better than getting sucked into welfare, into tyranny, into alleged safety promised by the state.
Ah yes I remember the Power Rangers. Being born in 1983, I was the perfect age for the Ninja Turtles. Saturday morning cartoons were the best.
Of course, we agree about the state. My focus is on how to actually get to a stateless future and what the arguments look like that might be convincing to non-anarchists. I guess you might say a non-utopian anarchism is my goal. More on that later.
I'm a minarchist. I would be an anarchist at least in theory. I believe that minarchism is at least a step towards anarchism it seems. Good to have goals but it is also important to find ways to get there step by step and to get people involved in that. It is good as people become more independent where they don't have to rely on government. And Bitcoin, Ubuntu, Bit Torrent, Steemit, and many things are helping us towards that as well.
