Many of you may not realize that the main principle in marketing is frequency and reach. First is frequency, the number of views of an image or article that people see is what helps the message to stick...Just think of television, the number of times you will see the same commercial, they play over and over. The other main principal is reach and that is how far your message/post extends it's reach. So, by not filling all of your tags on an article or photograph you may have spent hours on, may get missed because you did not optimize your tag use. (USE ALL 5 that steem allows!)

If you forget what they, simply go to a new window and retype in steemit.com and the main menu will pop up on your home page and that will give you the list. From there scroll down to the lesser tags as this is a great place for a minnow to start. As topics like travel and photography are extremely competitive, unless it is an award winning shot like some of these great veteran steemers, your post will not get much attention.

And remember, a year from now will pass anyway and the time you invest here will pay dividends for great writing. "There is always room at the top" zig ziglar here is another of his I like as well "If you keep on doing what you been doing you are going to keep on getting what you been getting"
