Hello everybody my name is John, I am a 27 year old software engineer based in Leeds, UK.
Why join Steemit?
I want to join a knowledgable, vibrant and friendly community to share thoughts and ideas away from the authoritarian software demigods.
What will I contribute?
I have joined Steemit to share my coding knowledge. For a living I develop software solutions in PHP and Golang. I will be writing posts on a variety of topics around software development and coding. I hope that these will provide useful for anyone in the software engineering community or someone who is looking to break in.

As a side note I play guitar (punk, indie, rock and roll), enjoy classical music (Vivaldi, Boccherini), painting acrylic landscapes, and currently battling through a challenge to read twenty four books this year. I am currently on twenty!
