Hello Steemit Community! How’s everything going? ¿cómo están?

My Name is Jessica Blondell and I’m really happy to be here with you guys...
I feel like such a newbie around here and I’m just starting to realize how wonderful this platform is!... I recently discovered it since my little sister got here and now she’s all over writing her life and experiences, so I thought I might as well do the same. I consider myself a bit of a writer, so this might be the beginning of something really great.

Since this is my first post, I definitely want to start by presenting myself and letting you know a bit about my interests and personality and some of the cool things you’ll be able to find in my posts (If I keep my muse well fed and my ramblings with some interesting coherence).

I’m a 25 years old Venezuelan communicator, with a huge passion for marketing, cinema and writing. I tend to compare my life with movie scenes and characters, and somehow I always end up being some odd version of Chevy Chase (when Chevy Chase was trending of course).

I was talking to a very close person recently and I described myself as a “puppy woman” if that makes any sense (probably not, so I’ll just explain myself) and by that I meant that I’m very sweet, given and emotional, so with time I hope that I can develop and transmit those emotions through some wonderful writings.

On my daily basis I work on a creative position which is great, the problem is that recently I feel that I’ve been giving all my creativity to my work and my clients, and somehow I’m losing my creative spark on my own projects, but that’s something I’m ready to change, and that’s what I’m getting crazy about steemit.
I think this place is going to be a wonderful platform for me, for my creativity, for my passion… I think I’ll slow things down at work and start focusing on creating something new. A fun post with crazy ramblings or ideas might be a good start.

By the way, before I continue. I have a massive problem… I do the worst comparisons and analogies in the world! So to prove a small point I might as well cross the universe to give you an answer of why the chicken crosses the road.
I feel like a cat that has lived many lives over and over again, but is not like a cat that dies, more like a cat that keeps evolving and changing a bit of fur… My life is a constant reborn and that’s something I want to share as well. Maybe there are a few lessons or interesting stories that I’m ready to share with the world.

*Chronicles about my day to day, maybe some funny stories, some crazy stories and maybe some drama too (not much, this is not The Bridges of Madison County)
*Some advices about life experiences, since my own experiences (Maybe I’m smarter now)
*Posts about old movies and movies in general, I’m a huge movie buff!
*I’ll talk about food and traveling since I’m a Bourdain wannabe.
*I’ll write about art, from my perspective that might not be so deep and artistic.
*And I think I’ll write about my projects… There are some stories on development and I think you might like to know about it.
*Some passion for Gerard Butler (I can’t help it, especially since The Phantom of the Opera)
*The fall of Val Kilmer and Brendan Fraser… Because we all want to know what happened to them.

What you won’t find at my post…

*An eternal love for Russian literature or Dostoyevsky (I’m a smart woman, I like reading, but I’m not into suffering)
*A hipster aspiration
*A socialist passion (I live in Venezuela, I know what this is and you don’t want to know how freaking bad it is)
*A cat post, I’ll go with dog’s all the time (don’t hate me for that)

So I think this would be the introduction for Jessica’s 101, but I definitely want you guys to know about me and my work, hopefully I’ll keep writing around here and creating some cool content, and I’ll be more than happy to share and to read all of your great posts as well.
