My Introduce Yourself post. I'm pleased to meet you!
Hello, I'm Jennifer
I have just created my first video on DTube to say hello to you all. I thought I would "kill two birds with one stone" and create a #introduceyourself post and video in one go. I am looking forward to learning more about how both platforms work as I post more content. Apologies if I have made some glaring errors with the quality of my video or how my blog post looks! I will work on improving them as I go.
I am a mum of two and I live in the South West of England, right by the sea, with my 'other half' and two cats. Don't be surprised if they (the kids and the cats) put in an appearance at some point.
I am a trainer by day and a Cub Scout leader and course creator by night. I love learning about video creation and online marketing and often review products to help inform people before they buy! I know what a minefield it is with some many products claiming to make you rich overnight. I am working towards increasing my 'self employed' income and spend at least an hour a day (after my employment) working on creating my online empire (Mwhaa haa haa )
My favourite spot to work is at my dining room table with my laptop. In fact I can see the sea (just to the left of me) as I sit and write this post. Every morning I can't wait to open the curtains and gaze out of the window to watch the sea, the birds and the boats. At night we have a little bat who comes out at dusk and flies just outside the window.
Please feel free to watch my video below:

I look forward to sharing my journey with you and also following yours. Please come and say 'hello' and leave a comment for me :)
Until next time,
Jennifer :)

Welcome nice to have you here , maybe you are lucky to be joining when steem is at a really low price . When price is low less people are posting and you have a better chance to earn steem . I highly recommend you post a lot and keep on posting . Till you get to at least 15 Steem Power. Don’t give up . I don’t recommend you buy Steem Power but I do recommend you post often till you get to 15 Steem Power. If you can not post go ahead and make sure to vote at least 6 times when you wake up and 4 times when you are going to bed . No more and no less.
@richard-921 I think I have a lot to learn - thank you for your helpful post :)
welcome to Steemit
Thank you :)
welcome to Steemit
welcome!
Welcome to steemit, jenniferbailey! Nice to meet you! I really hope you become successful in this platform!
After my 9-5 job that I work in, I would spend like 2-3 hours a night working on my YouTube channel, Steemit blog and Discord Servers I run. I also have a deviantart I check and upload content every now and then.
It's been great! Still growing my community so I can also be financially independent with my self employed status. You are at the right path. Once you work your own hours, more time for your family and kids. Hope we can get to know each other more as steemians supporting each other.
Love your cats xD And I see you also have a Blue Yeti mic, so do I! But mines is red! Feel free to check out my blog posts too incase you find something there that interests you. :)
And you can come join my Discord group where we help new members like you get more exposure on Steemit: https://discord.gg/WmxRnc3
If you do not have a Discord, making one is very easy! If you need help setting it up, I will be glad to do so. Great Intro post! Upvoted and followed!
