Welcome, phoenixxfire! Now that was a proper blog entry.

First some things:

1.) I can't speak for everyone else, but for one am very interested in knowing more about you and hearing you share your thoughts and experiences. It's not about whether you're a 'normal' person. Because while everyone might have a story, not everyone has the eloquence to tell it eloquently and comprehensively. This is valuable, no?

2.) Be sure to verify your account by making an intro post with you holding a sheet of paper with Steemit written on it, your username, and the date of the post. This is important because it discourages fake accounts and scammers from trying to star accounts. It'll also get you more follows and visibility from such high ranking Steemians as myself :O.

3.) Don't worry too much about making moolah right off the bat. Post about what you like and get into the habit of upvoting others, even though it's probably not going to have that much of an effect as a newbie.
