Introductory Post: The start of my journey on steemit ✨
Hi steemit community!
Before I start introducing myself, I would like to thank @surpassinggoogle for helping me to be approved on steemit and I would also like to thank @ligarayk for encouraging me to join steemit community. So I will now introduce myself to you 😊
My name is Jayvee G. Pepito. I'm 17 years old (turning 18 this wednesday). I'm from Cebu,Philippines which often called as the "Queen City of South". I'm currently studying at Mandaue City Comprehensive National High School and I'm taking up Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) strand. I took this strand because It is align to my future profession, Architect 👷
I usually sing in many events like debut, pageants, and etc. I also joined singing contests. I'm also fund of writing songs or turning poems into songs. The topic that I usually use is about love but I can do other topics tho. I love music just like how I love myself, my family, and friends. Recently, our school joined in a Math Jingle contest and I am the one that was tasked to write a song on it. And luckily we won 3rd place.
Here's my team that joined the Math Jingle contest and won 3rd place 😊
I also have a band and we named our band "Unloaded". We used to join contests but because we are just beginners, we usually had a consolation prize 😂. Because of busy schedules we decided to focus first on our careers and had our separate ways. Actually I and @ligarayk was former bandmates. He is the vocalist and I am the bassist 🎸
Why did I joined steemit?
I joined steemit because I want to use my voice and my song writing skills to spread awareness about a certain topic. Also, as a student I need a financial support in order to provide my needs so I want to earn money while sharing my knowledge about music and everything. @ligarayk is the one who told me to use steemit as a tool to share informations and knowledge on something that could be use for everyone 😊
