intoducing myself or introducing yourself on steemit for beginners.

Now I like to start this post by saying that i have joined the steemian community for a week now, but though very simple it took me about a 3 days to figure just how to even introduce myself.

Now to some this might be quite easy and thus may be wondering why this should be a problem, but am willing to bet that there are people out there who like me might be confused as what next step to take when you join the steemian community. and it is to/for these people this post is written. thus i will be answering 2 questions i had problems with directly and hopefully that will make it easier for
beginers in this great community.

you cannot introduce yourself properly if you dont even know How/where to introduce yourself. For instance I joined the steemian community and I started seeing people like me introducing themselves. ai was kinda confused because i was looking for a Link saying introduce yourself dt would take me to a place where i would talk about myself. this i did for three days just looking for a link.

However it is simple all you need to do is to go straight to post (the pencil symbol) put in a very Good topic and talk about yourself. Then you tag introduceyourself or introducemyself and then you are off to go

2.How do i write a Proper Introduction.

To answer this i will like to start by saying:

1. you should be very creative with your writing this means that your introduction must contain your biography, How you got to know about steemit and the reason why u are on steemit.

2. You writing should be fun to read. Start with greetings in your local language, your Favorite things, Hobbies, catchy Topics that will get the attention of the reader.

3. Upload a picture of yourself. Steemit suggest you hold a paper with Steemit written on it, your username and date. though this is not compulsory but i think its better you do this as it shows your username which will make people to wanna follow. picture size should b about 800 X 450 Quality: HD

4. Finally be sure to tag up to 5 main categories as it increases your chances of meeting more people. I made d mistake by tagging just 1 categories have since learnt as you will see in this post.
