Hey Steemit - we've been looking for each other!

Helloooo Steemians! Just received my Steemit account confirmation email. [silent fist pump]

I’m Jason. I’m a yoga teacher currently living in Washington, DC.

I stumbled my way onto Steemit a few days ago while diving down the blockchain rabbithole. I was hooked - a network that utilizes blockchain technology and tokenized incentives to leverage social media in a people-empowering way. It seems like there is really something special growing here. I want to be a part of it.

It’s a wild time to be alive. The prospect of what we’ll see - environmentally, geopolitically, technologically - over the next decade is equal parts uplifting and horrifying. I want to chronicle that rollercoaster ride. Expect a personal perspective with a historical scope + notes of optimism.

I’ll be posting musings and daydreams on everything from trees to technology, with a recurring focus on health, ego, and self love in the 21st century.
